Quality Label Awards 2026
Between 2019 and 2025, 24 entities and departments have been recognised and awarded the Quality Label for demonstrating exceptional service and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction. This recognition has established a benchmark for service quality within the Public Administration, encouraging continuous improvement and the adoption of best practices. In 2026, five additional entities joined the previous Quality Label holders, bringing the total number of recipients of this prestigious distinction to 29 (see here).
The Quality Label, awarded by the Office of the Principal Permanent Secretary and managed by the Directorate for Quality Service, recognises entities that uphold high service standards through improved processes, innovation, customer-focused practices, and obtain high scores in various assessments such as surveys and Mystery Shopping.
In 2026, the following departments and entities were recognized with the Quality Label for their cooperation in implementing essential changes in procedures and administration, and for exemplary service:
Each year, one of the Quality Label holders who demonstrates the best Service and shows a sustained commitment to high standards over the year is idenfied for the Quality Label. In 2026, the Health Care Funding Department (Entitlement Unit) was honoured with this award.
The Quality Label awards as well as the Quality Award were presented by HE the President of Malta during the Public Service Awards Ceremony on 20th June 2026.
